Hoax of Original Sin Hoax of Original Sin reimagines the biblical story of creation through the lens of Greek mythology, bringing Eve and Persephone, Adam and Hades, into a single symbolic encounter. At the centre of the work is the pomegranate—a fruit suspended between two mythologies. In Eden, it evokes forbidden knowledge and the crossing of a divine boundary; in the myth of Persephone, it becomes the fruit through which desire, captivity, and the Underworld become intertwined. Here, the pomegranate is no longer simply a symbol of temptation. It becomes a question: what exactly was humanity guilty of—the desire to know, the desire to possess, or the desire to become more than what we were given? The contrasting bodies of the two figures evoke a primordial duality: light and darkness, life and death, creation and destruction, masculine and feminine. They are not opposites locked in conflict, but forces drawn toward one another, suggesting that existence itself is born from tension
